This is a part of Carmarthenshire LEA. It started as a little project providing internet to a single PC in a few schools just before the NGFL came along.
Now it is a full ISP providing all the usual services (DNS, email, webspace etc) to networks in all the county schools. In addition to the ISP function we provide some technical support under an SLA.
With regard to the aims here, we are frequently called upon to provide advice/consultancy on server/network issues. We have now reached the point where at least two thirds of the school servers are running Linux.
