Loquela Education Online
We are currently funding the development of Loquela Education Online a project aimed at advancing open online education using the increasingly popular Moodle Course Management System. ICT Support Online is an experimental project aimed specifically at UK schools and aims to provide a unique online support system for teachers, ICT Coordinators and LEA Schools advisers on matters of Website Accessibility, Web Standards and Open Source Software. More than just a community portal Loquela Online Support hopes to provide direct free assistance from our team of experts and partners as well as the usual free resources, articles, etc.
Our consultancy and training work includes free workshops and presentations introducing concepts of Website Accessibility, Web Standards and the opportunities available to schools through the Open Source. We hope particularly to encourage UK schools to embrace the use of Moodle as the standard VLE in the UK.
Our Commercial Business
On the commercial side, we offer a range of web development services targeted specifically at UK Secondary and Primary Schools, our key focus being on accessibility. Included in these services are bespoke accessible web design, accessibility audits and reports and website conversions (update your old website and make it standards-compliant and accessible), training and support. The uniqueness of our service is in the level of support we provide our client schools, not only after sales support for our products, but the ongoing wide-ranging support we provide through our partnership with Loquela Education Online.
