Needed a system for accessing The Intenet with dial on demand and to provide file sharing for newly purchased Pcs. In addition replacement for Netware server which had no more connections available. |

| Project Description |
Currently all servers, except for SIMS, are running on Linux. These provide file and print sharing for all users. DHCP for workstations, DNS, NIS, email, webmail, web server, web proxy, monitoring, telephone logging for the entire site. Most workstations are Windows, with OpenOffice.org available. One room has recently been fitted with second hand Dell machines. Username, passwords and home directories are exactly the same as those with any other machine. |
