theINGOTs.org is a community project run by QCA accredited awarding body The Learning Machine Ltd providing progressive certification for basic computer skills that is not tied to proprietary software.

International Grades in Office Technology are certificated at Entry Level 1, 2, 3; Level 1 and Level 2 of the National Qualifications Framework. There is considerable interest in these certificates as there is no skills accreditation designed for younger children or adults with special needs and little kids love collecting certificates.

Some schools are also planning to use INGOTs for "Silver Surfers" and other community groups. Certification fees will be used to further free software development projects in education. More information on the website.
